Marcus Brown was just named the VTB MVP of group round 3 last week after exploding for 37 points and guess what he might get another MVP after scoring 26 points, grabbing 7 boards and getting a valuable victory against CSKA Moscow last night.

Brown, the all time Euroleague leading scorer, is leading the VTB league in scoring as of today and has his Lithuanian Club without a loss in both the LKL and BBL leagues. The team already won the BBL Presidents Cup earlier this season. And in spite the Club’s struggles in the Euroleague Brown is playing relatively well averaging 13 points, 2 assists and 2 rebounds per game.

For his efforts, Zalgiris announced extending his contract another year.

“I am going to play until I feel I can’t add value to a team,” Marcus said in a written statement. “Judging by how I feel today I could be around a few more years but even after I’m done playing I want to stay around basketball and coach, develop players or work for a Club possibly even in Europe.”
