Rimantas Grigas finished his short reign as the head coach of Zalgiris with a 97-83 (22-17, 22-24, 32-15, 21-27) win over Rudupis at home in Kaunas keeping their undefeated record clean. The newly appointed coach Ilias Zouros watched the game in the arena and will take over from Grigas at the sideline from now on.

Zalgiris was once again led by the in-form Martynas Pocius, who finished the game with 18 points, Travis Watson scored 17 points as Mantas Kalnietis had 14. Paulius Jankunas also reached double-digits with 11 points while Tadas Klimavicius had a great night on the boards with 12 rebounds to go along with nine points.

Rudupis trailed only by three points at halftime, but even a 28-point game from Justas Sinica couldn’t keep the Prienai side in contention in the second part of the game. Adas Juskevicius scored 19 points and dished out 8 assists while Povilas Butkevicius added 18 points and 11 boards.
