#MyStartingFive. Jokubaitis includes two Greeks and two Lithuanians alongside surprise selection 0

The Zalgiris TV team presents a new segment called #MyStartingFive, where Zalgiris players have to put together a dream starting five. The twist is that their selections are limited to the players who’ve been his teammates or that he went up against.

The segment’s first guest was Rokas Jokubaitis, who just recently celebrated his 20th birthday. The point guard has really found his stride this season, and he had four well-known players on his team, alongside a surprise selection.

The Zalgiris rising star had an all-Greek backcourt in his dream team, with FC Barcelona man Nick Calathes and Olympiacos’ Kostas Sloukas at the guard spots.

“I think I’d have two creative players in my line-up. I got no doubts about these selections.”

The young Zalgiris man selected his former teammate Edgaras Ulanovas at the three spot, who would form the frontcourt with Zalgiris captain Paulius Jankunas and a former professional player, Rokas’ dad Aivaras Jokubaitis.

“Dad played most of his career at the four-spot, but he’d fit well with Paulius Jankunas. I think dad would suit this line-up really well and we’d have some great results.”

You can find more on Rokas’ selections in Zalgiris TV’s newest video.
