After finishing high school Antanas flew overseas and played in NCAA. During his 4 college years, he was a member of 2 different teams. Then he signed with Panionios Athens where Kavaliauskas started his professional career. After that the big man played in 6 other clubs gaining invaluable experience. By the time Antanas signed with Lietuvos Rytas in 2014 he was ready to be a true leader. Kavaliauskas was the captain and the most efficient player of the team for two and a half years. Zalgiris wasted no time when an opportunity arose to sign this talented player. He is now ready for a new chapter and a lot of victories.
