This dead-eye shooter started his career playing for a few clubs in NKL. In 2007 Arturas made his way to the final roster of Zalgiris, but until the year 2013 he never stayed for more than 2 seasons. Playing in other LKL clubs Milaknis really improved and became a more versatile athlete. In the 2014-2015 season Milaknis demonstrated his best basketball so far and became famous in Europe for his elite shooting. After a great year Arturas got his chance to play in the national team of Lithuania. In the 2015 European Championship he won the silver medal. Last season the shooter represented Unics Kazan (Russia). He had a good season but realized that he feels the most comfortable playing at home. That’s why Arturas signed a long-term contract with Zalgiris in the summer of 2016.
