This player started his career in his home country, France. Playing in Lyon Leo was improving really fast and was invited to participate in the Nike Hoop Summit tournament in 2012. The guard then signed with Partizan Belgrade. During his first year he was one of the candidates for the prestigious Euroleague Rising Star award, which eventually went to Kostas Papanikolaou. After two great years in Serbia Leo was signed by FC Barcelona Lassa. However, he didn’t debut in Spain and came back to France. Playing for CSP Limoges Westermann once again proved his talents and led his team to the title of the French league. The athlete is also a member of the French national team and won the bronze medal in the 2015 European championship.
