#MyStartingFive. Marius Grigonis brings in star-studded line-up 0

Zalgiris guard Marius Grigonis became the second player after Rokas Jokubaitis to sit down for Zalgiris TV’s new segment #MyStartingFive.

Zalgiris’ top-scoring player this season brought in some star power, as he named players from each of the countries that he’s played in.

He started his career in Spain in 2013, where he often faced off against Real Madrid star Sergio Llull, who became the first player to be selected by Marius Grigonis.

Another Real Madrid player joined him in the back-court, as Marius chose the young Luka Doncic.

Two former green-and-whites also made the cut, as Grigonis selected his buddy Edgaras Ulanovas at the three, and Brandon Davies at the five-spot.

“I’ve got to take Jankunas at the four? Or I can take someone else?” – he laughed before selecting his power forward.

Grigonis chose American big man Luke Sikma, who was his teammate in Alba Berlin, as his four-man.

“It would be really really good. If we had a solid bench, we’d probably take the EuroLeague throne.”
