Zalgiris players talk about snowy season 3

As we put winter to rest, Zalgiris TV invites you for an episode connected to the woes of the snowy season.

In the latest episode of #ArPažįstiŽalgirietį (how well do you know your Zalgiris-man), the players responded on who they’d call to for help with shoveling snow. It comes to no surprise that it was the big men that were the most sought-after helpers.

“I’d pick Jankis. He lived in Russia. He’s old, so he’s seen a lot of snow, he knows how to shovel snow. He’s a strong man, he has three children now, and every time you have a child, you get stronger. It’s called dad strength,” – explained Nigel Hayes.

The team captain was also a popular choice when it came to who they would call if the car’s ignition was down.

“Jankunas for sure. He’s the unofficial Mayor of Kaunas, he’d definitely find a way to help,” – laughed Martinas Geben.

The veteran himself not only chose another experienced teammate Arturas Milaknis, but also had a jab at the younger players in the team.

“Maybe Arturas. We’re old-school, we might find a way to start up the car. Our youngsters don’t know a thing about cars.”
