Tomas Dimsa set to play in Italy next season 3

Lithuanian guard Tomas Dimsa, who is under contract with Zalgiris, will continue his development abroad. The Lithuanian Champions have loaned out Dimsa to Italian top-tier side De Longhi Treviso.

The 27-year-old guard started last season in Kaunas, but moved to the ACB league in Spain, where he represented Herbalife Gran Canaria in Las Palmas.

The 196 cm-tall shooting guard averaged 10.2 points, 2.4 assists and 7.8 efficiency in the EuroCup, while his averages in the Spanish league were lower: 7.0 points, 1.4 assists and 3.5 efficiency.

Dimsa’s next team, De Longhi, finished sixth in the Italian league and lost to the eventual champions Virtus Bologna in the Quarterfinals.

The Treviso side is looking to make their way to the FIBA Champions League regular season, as they begin their campaign with a match-up against London Lions in the Qualifiers stage of the competition.
