Zalgiris Kaunas players, who are about to start their preparations for the 2024-2025 season, have completed an important pre-season procedure - they have chosen their jersey numbers.
Deividas Sirvydis, who became the first rookie of the off-season, chose his usual number 91. American Tyrone Wallace chose No. 1, Frenchman Sylvain Francisco No. 3, Serbian Alen Smailagic No. 18, American Matt Mitchell No. 21 and center Bryant Dunston No. 42.
Ignas Brazdeikis, who is returning to the team after the season break, will wear a different jersey number than in the 2022-2023 season, when he played his first year in Kaunas. The player, who wore the number 17 jersey, chose the number 8 for the upcoming season.
The team’s old players (Lukas Lekavicius, Dovydas Giedraitis, Laurynas Birutis, Tomas Dimsa, Brady Manek, Arnas Butkevicius and Edgaras Ulanovas) did not make any adjustments to their jersey numbers.
