adidas Next Generation Tournament 2020

Zalgirio Arena will be hosting the top young European basketball talents on the 7-9^th of February, as the 18^th annual EuroLeague youth tournament is making its way back to the capital of Lithuanian basketball. Kaunas has been selected to host one of the four qualification tournaments for the eighth time now.

Eight teams from six nations will battle for a ticket to Cologne, where the main tournament of the adidas Next Generation youth tournament will be held during the EuroLeague Final Four on the 22-24^th of May.

Zalgiris’ youth will begin their battles in Group A, facing off against Nanterre 92 (France), Umana Reyer Venice (Italy) and Casademont Zaragoza (Spain). Group B will see the likes of Rytas Vilnius (Lithuania), Fenerbahce Istanbul (Turkey), Joventut Badalona (Spain) and Barking Abbey London (England).

Group games will be played on February 7th and 8th. On Sunday, February 9th, all the teams will find out their places in the tournament and the group winners will face each other in the final.
