I’m happy and always smiling girl, though at the same time serious, achieving for the goals, permanent and often reserved. A bit introvert, but often oriented to people and relation with them. That is why I chose to study psychology. I love dance and movement, through which I can express my emotions, change the environment.

FACTS

  • Favorite Zalgiris player. Zalgiris raised so many good and respectful players that it’s very complicated to choose one. Of course I admired Arvydas Sabonis from the childhood. He’s the biggest  legend of Lithuanian basketball. I always feel respect for Paulius Jankunas, who is over 10 years in Zalgiris. It’s not coincidence that my jersey’s number is 13!
  • The most memorable game. There were many of them during the six years! I always remember some crazy situations which happen during the game. For example during one game, about 5 years ago in Kaunas sports hall the ball went out of the court and bumped me straight on my head! All the girls were laughing and I felt that on my head for a while..:)
  • The most memorable situation during the game. Besides the situation with the ball I remember incident with the mascot – Zalgirinis. We were performing on the court and Zalgirinis entertained spectators and always ran on our way. When I was about to make a flop Zalgirinis appeared in the same place were I suppose to land. Bump with Zalgirinis was unavoidable and I left lying on the floor. Of course Zalgirinis helped me to get out of the situation and we finished the performance!
  • The maximum number of times you had to change your outfit in one game. We don’t usually have the statistics but I believe that we’ve changed as many clothes as we had time-outs. The maximum of time-outs we had was around 14!
  • The best thing about being Zalgiris cheerleader. Experience, emotions, unforgettable memories from games, various events and championships, where I have possibility to participate as Zalgiris dancer. And that feeling which I cannot express with the words, when you appear on the court and more than 10 thousand spectators are watching!
  • Why Zalgiris? Because it is the team of my home town and the best team in Lithuania!
  • Zalgiris associates with… excitement, emotions from the games, chants, dances, victories…
  • If I wouldn’t be a cheerleader for Zalgiris… different than I’m now. During those 6 years I spent here I’ve got so much experience, gotten close with the wonderful girls, got so much self-confidence. I can’t imagine what can replace it…
