National team players welcomed back to Zalgiris practice 1

With the season right on our noses, Zalgiris can finally begin preparations with a full roster, as all five national team players joined the rest of the team for practice on Tuesday morning.

The four Lithuanian national team players – Paulius Jankunas, Edgaras Ulanovas, Marius Grigonis and Lukas Lekavicius – had a couple days of rest after returning from their bouts in the World Cup, while Australia’s Jock Landale flew to Lithuania straight from China, as the Boomers were in the hunt for medals up until the very end.

Having arrived late Monday morning, he was still on the sidelines of the Tuesday practice, but will join in full speed on Wednesday.

With the return of the entire roster, the locker room was filled with greetings and laughter. Zalgiris TV was there to capture all the emotions and sights from the first full practice.

The green-and-whites are set to officially tip-off their 2019-2020 campaign on the 22nd of September in Siauliai, whereas their home opener will be the bout against Pieno Zvaigzdes on the 25th of September.
