#ZalgirisChallenge. An intense battle between Rokas Jokubaitis and Marek Blazevic 0

Even before the season officially tips off, Zalgiris TV is already bringing Zalgiris battles to your screens. In the second episode of #ZalgirisChallenge, two of the team‘s youngsters – Rokas Jokubaitis and Marek Blazevic – face off in an entertaining matchup.

The players had to respond to various questions, with most of them traditionally being about Zalgiris and the club’s history.

One of the tasks was to name another name for the battle of Zalgiris, with one of the hints being that it’s also the name for a bus stop nearby Akropolis. Nevertheless, the Vilnius-born Blazevic didn’t take much use of that.

“I haven’t really had the chance to ride the bus around Kaunas yet. Rokas is taking care of me, driving me everywhere.”

Both players struggled naming the three NBA teams Nigel Hayes has played for, ending up in quite a discussion.

“The most important thing is that we know when the battle of Zalgiris happened. And when Lithuania’s name was first mentioned.” – laughed the two teammates.

There were any more questions in the latest episode of #ZalgirisChallenge, bringing back some memories about Tanoka Beard, Jonas Valanciunas and the retired jerseys hanging in Zalgirio Arena.
