Damjan Pavlović, who has represented FK Kauno Zalgiris for the past year and a half, will continue his career abroad. The Lithuanian champions and French Ligue 2 club Rodez have reached an agreement on the terms of the midfielder's transfer.
The Belgian-Serbian central midfielder arrived in Kaunas ahead of the 2025 season. That same year, he helped the team win the Lithuanian championship, and at the beginning of 2026 he also lifted the LFF Super Cup, where he was named the MVP of the final.
"We were very active during the summer transfer window, and Damjan's departure is part of that. He came to Lithuania with clear goals, and after achieving them, he earned the opportunity to take the next step in his career. When the club received an offer from France, we agreed to the transfer," said the club's sporting director, Darius Sinkunas.
Wearing the Kauno Zalgiris shirt, Pavlović made a total of 56 appearances, scoring 2 goals and providing 10 assists.
Kauno Zalgiris thanks Damjan Pavlović for his time at the club and wishes him the very best in the next stage of his career.
