Zalgiris Kaunas guard Dovydas Giedraitis will be unable to help his team for several weeks.

After undergoing wrist surgery in the summer and rehabilitation that lasted until November, Giedraitis attempted to return to the lineup but felt pain in his thigh during Monday’s training session.

Medical tests revealed that the Zalgiris player will be unable to play for several weeks.

Giedraitis returned to the court on November 9 in a game against Nevezis Kedainiai. He scored 13 points in 21 minutes.

Last week, the guard traveled with Zalgiris to the EuroLeague double-round week, but felt discomfort during practices and was unable to help the team.
