Zalgiris Kaunas crushed Partizan Belgrade 109-68 on Friday evening. After the game, Moses Wright, who scored 17 points and collected 27 efficiency points, shared his comments.
At the beginning of the interview, Rytis Kazlauskas checked whether the Zalgiris center knew which records the team had broken, and then Wright talked about the reasons for the victory.
“We pressed them on defense from the first to the last minute. Of course, our previous losses at home also motivated us a lot, because we can’t show such disrespect to our fans,” said the Zalgiris player.
Wright also shared his joy at having played a solid game.
“I feel really good. I had a difficult period, so it’s nice to be back. It’s a great feeling to have the support of my teammates even when I’m playing poorly, so I’m grateful,” said Wright emotionally.
Wright also shared his favorite moment of the game, in which he hoped to see Sylvain Francisco dunk, and later revealed whether the Frenchman had dunked during practice this season, so we invite you to watch the entire video and hear Wright’s engaging and candid interview.
Next Tuesday, Zalgiris will try to extend their winning streak on Nemunas Island when they host Panathinaikos Athens.
