At the beginning of 2026, one of the biggest international sporting events in recent years will come to the Zalgirio Arena – the UEFA European Futsal Championship will be held in Kaunas. As a result, two LKL championship games will be moved from the Zalgirio Arena to a backup arena.
On January 25, Zalgiris will play against Nevezis-Paskolu klubas Kedainiai, and on February 1, they will face Jonava Hipocredit at the Garliava Sports Center (Vasario 16-osios g. 8, Garliava). The games will start at 4:50 p.m. (doors open at 3:20 p.m.).
Although all scheduled LKL games will take place and are not being canceled, Zalgiris season ticket holders can request compensation. After filling out the form, part of the amount for the postponed games included in the season ticket will be compensated. Compensation requests can be submitted until February 10, 2026. Compensation requests will be processed by February 25, 2026.
Season ticket holders who do not take advantage of the compensation will have the opportunity to attend the matches against the Nevezis and Jonava teams in Garliava. Seating will be freely selectable. A limited number of tickets will be available for both matches.
