The EuroLeague Round 9 game between Zalgiris Kaunas and Valencia Basket will take place in a packed Zalgirio Arena.
This is the 25th consecutive EuroLeague home game for Zalgiris, for which all tickets have been sold out.
Just before the start of the game, a ceremony that is not often held in Kaunas will take place at the Zalgirio Arena. In the middle of the court, the EuroLeague’s Most Valuable Player of October award will be presented to Zalgiris player Sylvain Francisco. The Frenchman became only the fifth Zalgiris player in EuroLeague history to be named the most valuable player of the month.
In addition to this match, Zalgiris will play only one more game at home in November – on November 25, Baskonia Vitoria will visit Zalgirio Arena.
However, in December, fans will be able to enjoy four EuroLeague games and one LKL game. On December 4, Zalgiris will face Maccabi Tel Aviv, on December 7 – Gargzdai, December 17 will see a clash with Anadolu Efes Istanbul, and tickets for the December 19 and 23 games against Partizan Belgrade and Panathinaikos Athens are almost sold out.
