Zalgiris Kaunas has finalized its coaching staff for the upcoming 2025-26 season. New head coach Tomas Masiulis will be assisted by both newcomers and familiar faces who have been part of the Zalgiris organization for several seasons.

Renaldas Seibutis, who joined the team in the summer of 2024, moves from the position of individual skills coach to assistant coach. He will be paired with Mantas Sernius, who is coming to Kaunas, as the lead assistant coach.

Two specialists will work in the position of coach-scouts - Andrew Antelidze, who was the video coordinator last season, and Andrius Ulcickas, who is coming from CBet Jonava, and who has already gained experience in the coaching staff of the Lithuanian men’s national basketball team.

Seibutis will be replaced by a familiar face in the position of individual skills coach - Zygimantas Janavicius, a former Zalgiris player, who is starting a new phase of his basketball career.

Zalgiris will continue to employ physical training coaches Justinas Grainys, Nerijus Navickas and Arnas Ikamas, doctors Vytautas Kailius and Andrius Aukstakalnis, and massage therapist Romas Petraitis.

In the new season, the team’s coaching staff will no longer include long-time assistant Tautvydas Sabonis, who is leaving to become head coach of the London Lions. He will be assisted in London by Vytautas Pliauga, another assistant leaving Zalgiris.

Gintaras Krapikas, former player, head coach and long-time assistant coach, will also leave the Zalgiris coaching staff.
