Zalgiris Kaunas will play their last preseason game this Wednesday, September 17, when they face Tautvydas Sabonis’ London Lions at 9:15 p.m. Green-and-white fans will be able to watch the game live on Zalgiris Insider.
Lions, who are preparing for their return to the EuroCup, have a large number of Lithuanian personnel on their roster. Tautvydas Sabonis is ready to take on the official position of head coach, assisted by Vytautas Pliauga, Gintaras Krapikas, and physical trainer Domantas Tautkus. Martynas Purlys serves as the club’s sports director, while Justinas Liaudinskas is the commercial director.
Almost the entire roster will be available to help Zalgiris in this intriguing matchup, with the exception of Maodo Lo, who recently became European champion with the German national team, and Dovydas Giedraitis, who is still recovering from wrist surgery.
