Zalgiris Kaunas has signed a new contract with Isaiah Wong, who recently joined the team.

The new contract with the 190 cm tall player runs until the end of the 2027-2028 season, with an option for Isaiah Wong to leave for the NBA this summer for a buyout.

“Isaiah arrived in Kaunas as the season was getting underway, which doesn’t make it any easier for a player coming to Europe for the first time to integrate. From day one, Wong appeared to be a motivated and growing player. Finding a reliable backcourt player is always a challenge in today’s market, so we decided to give a chance to Isaiah, who has shown potential and has a clear opportunity to develop,” said Gediminas Navickas, GM of Zalgiris Kaunas

Wong played 7 games in the EuroLeague, averaging 12 minutes on the floor and scoring 6.4 points, 1.3 rebounds and 6 efficiency points.

In the Betsafe-LKL Championship, the 24-year-old guard averages 9.2 points, 2.2 rebounds and 7.4 assists in 16 minutes.
