Zalgiris Kaunas was unable to keep its winning momentum going on Wednesday night, suffering a 78-95 defeat against Olympiacos at the Peace and Friendship Stadium.

The home team took charge from the very beginning as Tyler Dorsey poured in 12 of Olympiacos’s first 14 points and set the tone for an early double-digit lead.

Zalgiris struggled to close the gap as Olympiacos controlled the game through all four quarters, handing the Lithuanian side its first loss after a four-game winning streak. Now, both teams share a 7-3 record in the EuroLeague standings.

Sylvain Francisco led Zalgiris in scoring with 15 points, and Moses Wright registered a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds against his former club.

For Olympiacos, Dorsey recorded a season-high 30 points while Nikola Milutinov added 16 points and 8 rebounds.
