Dovydas Giedraitis joins team’s practices 0

Dovydas Giedraitis could be seen in practice on Tuesday, as Zalgiris’ rookie missed the start of the season with his rehab from ankle surgery.

The guard’s return to the court has been closely monitored by Zalgiris’ physical preparation coaches and medical staff, and according to one of the physios Sigitas Kavaliauskas, Giedraitis’ return to game action will depend on his leg’s reaction to the workload.

The 22-year-old was happy to start his work with the rest of the team and shared his experiences with Zalgiris Insider subscribers.

“It was my first practice with full contact. I’m doing as much as my leg lets me, as much as my heart lets me. We’re not trying to get ahead of ourselves. We’ll look at how things look tomorrow, and we’ll get rolling bit by bit.”
