Coaches Maskoliunas and Markevicius leave Zalgiris 0

The second week of Lithuanian League final series brought some news in BC Zalgiris camp. Head coach Darius Maskoliunas had to resign on Tuesday after losing to Lietuvos Rytas for the third time in few weeks time.

Later on Thursday assistant coach Gvidonas Markevicius also stepped down.

These decisions left Dainius Salenga, the team captain, to do head coach duties during the fourth game of Lithuanian League finals on Thursday night.
