Zalgiris drops another game in Top-16 0

Zalgiris continued the struggles in the Top-16, as the Kaunas club suffered a 52-56 defeat in Istanbul, losing against Anadolu Efes.

It was the fourth defeat for the Lithuanian team in five games in the second stage of competition, while Anadolu Efes are on the opposite end of the standings at 4-1.

The Greens have lost 23 games on the road in the Top 16 stage in a row, with the last one coming in 2004 against Ulker.

Sasha Vujacic was the game’s leading scorer with 12 points, Joshua Shipp had 11, while Dusko Savanovic and Jamon Lucas chipped in with 10 points each.

Zalgiris was led by Mindaugas Kuzminskas and Tremmell Darden, who both had 10 points each, while Ksystof Lavrinovic added eight.
