Zalgiris 70th anniversary will be marked with a release of a unique accessory for the most dedicated Zalgiris fans – Zalgiris watch. This limited edition watch is specially assembled in Lithuania. Zalgiris players enjoy them on their wrists already.

“I am a huge fan of watches, therefore I decided to buy this watch immediately, which is, basically, one-of-a-kind Zalgiris attribute”, – said Darius Songaila.

There are only 100 of these watches for sale and each one of them is unique, since they have specific serial numbers. This will allow the buyers to choose the watch corresponding to their own lucky numbers.

“There was a little funny disagreement between our former player Mantas Kalnietis and current head coach Gintaras Krapikas. They both ordered watches with a serial number ‘9’, because they both wore jerseys with this number in the team. Thankfully, the dispute was solved peacefully”, – joked Mr. Paulius Motiejunas, the director of Zalgiris Kaunas.

Zalgiris big man Darius Songaila added: “This watch is a very high quality product and it will give a significant meaning to Zalgiris 70th Anniversary. This is why the majority of current and former BC Zalgiris players decided to get one of their own.”
