#TimeOutŽalgiris with a look at Zalgiris vs Barcelona game 0

Last Friday fans had another chance to witness top class basketball, as the matchup between Zalgiris and Barcelona went into overtime and left a lasting impression on everyone in attendance.

#TimeOutŽalgiris host Dalia Belickaite could be seen in every corner of the arena, speaking to fans and celebrities on behalf of Zalgiris TV.

The captain of one of the top European futsal clubs – Inter FS Madrid, Carlos Ortiz Jimenez, was fascinated by the atmosphere in Zalgirio Arena.

“The atmosphere is perfect. I would love to play in the final in the 2020 World Futsal Championship that will be held here, in this arena. Today I’m rooting for Zalgiris, of course. I was born in Madrid, so Barcelona has always been a rival.”

Speaking to basketball fans, Belickaite tried to figure out what superpowers each of Zalgiris players would possess. Most gave Aaron White the ability to fly or extend his limbs, Paulius Jankunas was hailed an ever-classy Iron Man, while Arturas Milaknis would likely be the Splash God, making shots from anywhere he fancies.

Dalia Belickaite also had the chance to talk to Kevin Pangos, who played in Kaunas for two seasons before moving on to Barcelona this year.

“It felt great to see the former teammates and staff. I miss them all, they’re all great guys I had the chance to play with. The fans were great and so was the atmosphere!”
