#TimeOutZalgiris. The Zalgiris dog breed debate and guest experiences 0

Last Friday brought another beautiful EuroLeague victory to a sold-out Zalgirio Arena. The green-and-white ocean of fans created a phenomenal atmosphere and #TimeOutZalgiris was there to witness it.

„I’m very passionate about these things, so all this is unreal for me. I’m just jumping around all game long“, said singer Igle Bernotaityte, who was watching the game up close with singer Tadas Juodsnukis.

„Igle is easily the crazier basketball fan between the two of us. I’m holding the popcorn myself, so she wouldn’t throw them around when someone misses a free-throw or anything of that sorts happens. I like to watch the game calmly, notice the plays. I like to look at how Coach Saras is running the team.“

EuroLeague social project One Team had it‘s final event during the halftime break, as participants took center stage with a game of integrated basketball alongside wheelchair basketball players. Rokas, one of the participants, shared his experience throughout the project.

“The game was really fun. I really enjoyed the project and I’ve had a lot of memorable experiences. I learned how to communicate better and met many new friends.”

In the second part of the latest #TimeOutZalgiris episode, fans discussed about which Zalgiris player resembles different dog breeds. The final consensus had Thomas Walkup, Paulius Jankunas and Aaron White reminded them mostly of a bulldog, while Jankunas and Kavaliauskas both received samyoed comparisons. Fans also had their say on who reminded them of a retriever, a dachshund, a great dane and a doberman.
