Two tests come back negative for Rokas Jokubaitis 1

Zalgiris guard Rokas Jokubaitis can take a sigh of relief, as his two COVID-19 tests done on Friday and Monday came back negative.

Nevertheless, Rokas will not be making the trip to Israel on the 12th of November, as Zalgiris takes on Maccabi in Tel Aviv. According to EuroLeague guidelines, he’ll be allowed to play in the games only 14 days after receiving a positive test. Jokubaitis’ positive result came in on the 30th of October, so he’ll be ready to suit up on the 13th of November.

Rokas shared a bit about his self-isolation on a special #ZalgirisOnAir podcast episode.

“I felt worse the first couple of days when my fever had gone up. I had a sore throat and a stuffed nose. A couple days later the symptoms withdrew, so I started working out at home and now everything seems fine. Maybe I’m just feeling like I’ve lost some weight.”

In an hour-long conversation, he also talked about the actualities of the NBA draft and his play this season.
