Zalgiris completes Juventus sweep to advance to Finals 4

Zalgiris managed to close out the series against Juventus with no hiccups, as they took a 93-75 victory in game 3 of the Betsafe-LKL Semifinals.

The green-and-whites will now go on to defend their title against Rytas Vilnius in a Finals series that starts next week.

In a high-scoring opening quarter Zalgiris got off to a good start, running up by eight, 30-22. The margin kept growing as the half progressed, and by halftime the two sides were already separated by 23 points.

While the visitors managed to cut into the deficit, the outcome of the game was never in doubt, as Zalgiris claimed the 93-75 victory.

Marius Grigonis was Zalgiris’ key player, as he dropped 18 points. Nigel Hayes (5 rebounds) and Rokas Jokubaitis both ended up with double figures, scoring 10 points apiece. Lukas Lekavicius contributed 9 points and 4 assists, as Martinas Geben (10 rebounds) and Joffrey Lauvergne ended up with 8 each.
