Zalgiris announces preparation plan 0

Zalgiris has finished setting up their plans for upcoming season, and made the dates known in the friendly games cycle.

The green-and-whites will go through medical checks and physical preparation tests on the 16-17th of August. After going through the mandatory preseason procedures, Martin Schiller’s troops will begin group work on the 18th in their first team practice.

It’s already clear that Zalgiris will play five friendly games in this preparation cycle, with the broadcasts being available to the team’s most loyal supporters.

On the 1st of September, Zalgiris will look to face Lokomotiv Krasnodar, followed by a meeting with Lietkabelis Panevezys on the 3rd. Both games from Kaunas will be available only to MVP plan subscribers on the Zalgiris Insider platform.

After the training camp in Kaunas, Zalgiris will head down to Turkey on the 7th of September, where they will play three games in the Gloria Cup tournament. Zalgiris returns to this annual tournament after a one-year break.

Once back, Zalgiris will finish off the preparations in Lithuania and await their first official games. The schedule should see Zalgiris’ first game in the Lithuanian basketball league on the 20th of September, while their EuroLeague battles start on the 1st of October.
