Butkevicius and Dimsa t-shirts go on sale on eBay 0

Zalgiris Kaunas players Arnas Butkevicius and Tomas Dimsa have already tested the auction possibilities of the global e-commerce platform eBay. Zalgiris players have easily set up their own auctions where their jerseys are available.

At the beginning of the year, Zalgiris Kaunas announced a partnership with eBay, a global e-commerce platform, to support the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the Baltic region.

The eBay platform will be featured in the Zalgirio Arena, inviting fans and businesses to join eBay’s unique growth programme.

This programme offers local businesses that meet certain criteria a range of benefits, including free listing on eBay for the first 3 months, personal training, discounts and more. The registration page for this programme is https://export.ebay.com/lt/zalgiris/.

The launch of the cooperation and the start of this programme will be marked by a new digital campaign featuring Zalgiris Kaunas players Dimsa and Butkevicius.

Members of the Lithuanian national team and the Lithuanian champions are already inviting all basketball fans to buy their original jerseys.

The winners of the eBay auctions will receive not only Butkevicius’ and Dimsa’s signed jerseys, but also 2 tickets each for the EuroLeague game against Fenerbahce Istanbul on 19 January. Zalgiris auctions, which started on 10 January, will continue until 16 January, and all the money raised during the auction will be donated to a non-profit organization.

At the same time, the two players are challenging each other – Zalgiris player who sells his jersey for the highest price will receive lunch from his teammate.

With eBay’s free of charge special program Zalgiris fans will get all the information and support they need to become a global seller.

This partnership between Zalgiris and eBay aims to stimulate the region’s economic growth by helping local SMEs to expand their business outside the region and into the global market. eBay’s expertise in e-commerce, combined with Zalgiris’ passion for supporting the local business ecosystem, will enable businesses to grow and succeed in the digital age.
