Having reached an important victory in the Lithuanian championship last Friday, the football players of Kauno Žalgiris will play the next official match only on July 20, but they will use the break in a meaningful way - the friendly match against the Polish champions awaits them on the weekend.
On July 13th, Kauno Žalgiriso football players will play a friendly match in Bialystok against Jagiellonia club, which became the national champions for the first time.
During its existence, the Jagiellonia club has had more than one Lithuanian in the team, among whom is Fedor Černych, the latest signing of Zalgiris.
Jagiellonia is currently preparing not only for the Polish Championship or the Polish Super Cup final, but also for the second round of the UEFA Champions League qualifiers.
The match will take place in the city stadium of Białystok, which can accommodate more than 20 thousand fans, and will start at 16:00. The live broadcast of the match is planned on the YouTube channel of the Jagiellonia club.
