Zalgiris Kaunas (27-1) took control after halftime to secure a Lithuanian Basketball League victory in Siauliai. Zalgiris dominated the third quarter and defeated Siauliai (15-12) by 91-78 (16-24, 21-20, 31-13, 23-21).

Azuolas Tubelis opened the scoring for Zalgiris, while Sylvain Francisco added a difficult one‑legged three-pointer and a steal. However, Siauliai caught fire offensively and built a double‑digit lead. Deividas Sirvydis’ late scoring helped Zalgiris stay within reach, trailing 16-24.

Laurynas Birutis and Sirvydis provided scoring early in the second quarter, but the deficit briefly grew to as many as 16 points. A late push led by Nigel Williams‑Goss, Dovydas Giedraitis, and a buzzer‑beating three from Dustin Sleva cut the gap. Zalgiris went into halftime down 37-44.

Zalgiris flipped the game completely after the break with aggressive defense and efficient offense. Francisco scored eight quick points, while Tubelis and Williams‑Goss helped swing the momentum. A dominant 31-13 quarter put Zalgiris firmly in control, leading 68-57.

Dustin Sleva continued his strong stretch, scoring eight more points to extend the lead. Edgaras Ulanovas and Francisco added key baskets as Zalgiris maintained control. Solid execution down the stretch sealed a 91-78 road win.

Francisco and Sleva scored 19 points each for Zalgiris.
