Zalgiris Kaunas defeated Paris Basketball (85:79) on Friday night to secure a spot in the EuroLeague playoffs. Moses Wright, who had already recorded a double-double midway through the second quarter, delivered another career performance that earned him Round MVP honors.

In just over 27 minutes, Wright scored 16 points, grabbed an impressive 18 rebounds and accumulated a performance index rating of 43. This marks the second-highest efficiency rating in the EuroLeague this season, surpassed only by Nathan Reuvers of Valencia Basket, who posted 44 a few rounds earlier.

Wright’s double-double, achieved in just 9 minutes and 11 seconds, also goes down in EuroLeague history as the third-fastest ever recorded.

In Zalgiris history, Arvydas Sabonis has also recorded an 18-rebound game in the EuroLeague, while Tanoka Beard holds his record with 19 rebounds during the 2004–05 season.

This marks the second time this season - and in Wright’s career - that he has been named EuroLeague Round MVP. He previously earned the honor after Round 28 against Hapoel Tel Aviv, when he scored 25 points and registered a 34 PIR.

Earlier this season, Sylvain Francisco also claimed Round MVP honors twice.
