Zalgiris Kaunas extended its home winning streak with a 78-71 victory over Bayern Munich at Zalgirio Arena, moving to 19-14 in the EuroLeague standings.

In the first half, Azuolas Tubelis scored efficiently inside for Zalgiris and finished the half with 12 points. With neither team finding rhythm from beyond the arc, both sides looked to score in the paint, while Bayern’s bench depth stood out, accounting for 20 of the team’s 38 first-half points.

In the third quarter, Zalgiris used a 13-0 run to take the lead and grab the momentum. In the final period, Bayern cut the deficit to three points but Zalgiris sealed the win.

For Zalgiris, Tubelis led the team with 21 points and 4 rebounds, Moses Wright added 16 points and 7 rebounds, Sylvain Francisco contributed 14 points and 7 assists, and Dustin Sleva finished with 11 points.

For Bayern, Oscar da Silva posted a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds, Xavier Rathan-Mayes netted 11 points, and Justus Holatz scored 10 points.
