As Zalgiris Kaunas continue their EuroLeague playoff campaign, public ticket sales for Game 4 of the quarterfinal series opened on Thursday and lasted only a few hours.
The majority of seats had already been purchased during the presale phase, which was available to Zalgiris season ticket holders, holders of Annual or Club Zalgiris Insider memberships, as well as fans who attended Wednesday’s game in person.
This means that the May 8 matchup against Fenerbahce Istanbul at Zalgirio Arena will mark the 41st consecutive sold-out EuroLeague home game in Kaunas.
Game-day activities will begin well before tip-off. Starting at 5:00 PM on Nemunas Island, near the arena’s main entrance, all basketball fans will be welcome in the fan zone. The area is open to everyone free of charge, regardless of whether they have a game ticket, and will feature a giant screen showing the live broadcast, entertainment activities, partner activations, as well as food and drinks, allowing fans to experience the playoff atmosphere outside the arena.
Meanwhile, fans will be invited inside the arena from 6:00 PM. As Zalgiris players take the court for warm-ups, active crowd support will begin, helping to energize both the team and the audience.
Ahead of team introductions, Zalgiris supporters will raise their scarves as Justinas Jarutis performs Zaliai Balti Dievai live.
Immediately after, attention will turn to center court, where Zalgiris president Paulius Jankunas will present an award to Sylvain Francisco for being named to the EuroLeague First Team.
Finally, fans will experience an upgraded game presentation featuring additional visual elements, descending screens, and enhanced sound and lighting effects, all designed to intensify the playoff atmosphere.
During halftime, spectators will also enjoy a live musical performance by Paulina Paukstaityte.
