Zalgiris Kaunas leading scorer and most efficient EuroLeague player Sylvain Francisco finished second in the voting for the 2025-26 EuroLeague Regular Season MVP award.

The EuroLeague Regular Season MVP was selected through a combined vote of head coaches (35%), team captains (35%), media representatives (20%), and fans (10%).

This season’s MVP award was claimed by Sasha Vezenkov, the leader of Olympiacos Piraeus, while Elijah Bryant of Hapoel Tel Aviv finished behind Francisco in third place.

This marks Vezenkov’s second MVP award, having previously won the honor in the 2022-23 season. The Bulgarian forward thus became only the second player in EuroLeague history to win the MVP twice, joining Anthony Parker, who earned the award in the 2004-05 and 2005-06 seasons.

Francisco completed the EuroLeague regular season averaging 16.7 points, 2.8 rebounds, 6.4 assists, and 19.5 performance index rating (PIR) per game. The French guard was the league’s sole leader in games with at least three made three-pointers, recording 22 such performances this season.

Francisco finished fourth in the EuroLeague in PIR and shared second place in assists per game with Mike James.
