Zalgiris Kaunas defeated the Partizan Belgrade on the road, 83-74. After the game, Sylvain Francisco, who scored 18 points and dished 6 assists, shared his thoughts.

“Today we were confident and believed in ourselves. We knew we were playing away and that we had to stop every one of their runs and respond with points. We needed to play tougher defense, and today we managed to do that,” the Frenchman described the game.

The Zalgiris guard also spoke about the psychological factor.

“We knew they had played a day later in Turkey, so they had one less day of rest. We knew that from the very first minutes we had to be more physical. We were leading throughout the whole game, so we had to protect the advantage and take the win back home. We knew it wouldn’t be easy, but we had to do it,” said Francisco.

Francisco also shared his thoughts on Moses Wright’s four assists and his EuroLeague career-high performance, so we invite you to watch the full video.
