Zalgiris Kaunas head coach Tomas Masiulis finished second in the voting for the 2025-26 EuroLeague Coach of the Year award.
In the annual voting, all EuroLeague head coaches cast their votes for their peers.
This season’s Coach of the Year award was won by Pedro Martinez, the head coach of Valencia Basket, who led his team to a second-place finish in the regular season with a 25-13 record. It was the first full EuroLeague season for the 64-year-old coach since returning to the competition, and his Valencia side stood out not only for its results but also for having the most productive offense in the league, averaging 90.9 points per game.
Meanwhile, Masiulis guided Zalgiris to the EuroLeague playoffs, with the team’s fifth-place finish in the regular season marking the best result in club history.
Finishing behind Masiulis in the voting was Georgios Bartzokas (Olympiacos Piraeus), while Sarunas Jasikevicius (Fenerbahce Istanbul), last season’s winner, placed fourth. In total, 13 different coaches received votes.
