Zalgiris Kaunas advanced to the King Mindaugas Cup Final Four. In the second game of the quarterfinal series, Tomas Masiulis’s team defeated Jonava Hipocredit 89-63 (17-16, 26-13, 26-19, 20-15).

Mantas Rubstavicius scored the first four points for Zalgiris with free throws, while Dustin Sleva and Laurynas Birutis added two points each to make it 8-8. Deividas Sirvydis scored 4 points, Ignas Stombergas made impact, and Maodo Lo shot accurately from the three-point zone, 17-16.

Edgaras Ulanovas and Rubstavicius started the second quarter with accurate three-pointers, 23-18. Dovydas Giedraitis and Rubstavicius scored two points each, while Ignas Brazdeikis tallied 6 points in a row, 33-28. Birutis scored free throws, Tubelis added 4 points, and Kajus Mikalauskas ended the quarter with a three-pointer at the buzzer, 43-29.

Rubstavicius, Birutis, and Sirvydis opened the third quarter with two-pointers, 49-32. Sleva hit a three-pointer, Sirvydis made free throws, and Lo increased the lead to 21 points, 56-35. Sirvydis scored a two-pointer, Lo connected from downtown, and Brazdeikis added a two-pointer with a foul, 64-42. Mikalauskas hit a three-pointer, Brazdeikis made free throws, 69-48.

Giedraitis hit a three-pointer, Rubstavicius scored 4 points, Edgaras Ulanovas added 5 points, 80-61. Sleva and Stombergas each made a free throw, Rubstavicius hit from long range, and Birutis scored 4 points, 89-63.

Rubstavicius was the leading scorer with 16 points and 7 rebounds. Brazdeikis finished with 11 points, while Birutis and Sirvydis had 10 points each.
