Zalgiris Kaunas (16-1) defeated Neptunas Klaipeda (11-6) in the Lithuanian League 87-76 (19-27, 32-10, 20-18, 16-21) at Zalgirio Arena.

Laurynas Birutis tallied the first 6 points for Zalgiris, 6-9. Moses Wright and Dustin Sleva scored from under the basket (10-14), while Azuolas Tubelis made a three-pointer and free throws, 15-19. At the end of the quarter, Maodo Lo and Tubelis reduced the deficit, 19-27.

Sylvain Francisco, Edgaras Ulanovas, and Ignas Brazdeikis scored 2 points each, Tubelis added 4, and Zalgiris took the lead for the first time, 29-28. Birutis scored, Sleva collected 5 points, Wright and Sirvydis added 6 each, 48-33. Just before the big break, Wright scored his 10th point, and Sirvydis sealed the quarter with a free throw, winning it 32-10 for 51-37 lead.

Brazdeikis started the third quarter with 5 points, Wright made both a dunk and an assist to Francisco, 60-43. Sleva made his free throws, Brazdeikis hit his second three-pointer, Birutis scored his 10th point, and Arnas Butkevicius made a free throw and a three-pointer, 71-55.

Kajus Mikalauskas opened his scoring account, Lo scored 4 points, Sirvydis broke through under the basket, 78-60. Tubelis scored 5 points in a row, Brazdeikis hit free throws and made his 9th assist, which Birutis converted into a dunk, 87-76.

Tubelis led the scoring with 16 points, while Wright, Birutis and Brazdeikis added 12 points each.
