Zalgiris Kaunas fell 82-92 to Anadolu Efes Istanbul on Friday night, conceding the final 13 points of the game in a tightly contested EuroLeague Round 27 matchup.

The result drops Zalgiris to a 15-12 record and ninth place in the standings, while Efes improves to 8-19 and completes a sweep of the regular‑season series.

Zalgiris delivered a strong response after falling behind by double digits in the third quarter, putting together an impressive 18-2 run to take a 63-57 lead.

The hosts countered early in the fourth with an 11-0 stretch to move back in front, but Zalgiris showed resilience once more, producing a 11-3 spurt to regain the advantage heading into the final minutes.

However, the closing phase belonged to Efes, which sealed the contest with a decisive 13-0 run. Despite multiple momentum‑shifting runs and stretches of strong play, Zalgiris was unable to close out the game in the final possessions.

Jordan Loyd had a key triple in the final minute and finished with 19 points, while Saben Lee scored 6 of his 10 points in the game-ending run. Lee also dished 8 assists. PJ Dozier scored 14 and Nick Weiler-Babb added 13 points in the win.

Azuolas Tubelis paced Zalgiris with 22 points, and Nigel Williams-Goss had 19 in defeat.
