Zalgiris Kaunas (23-1) continued their winning run in the Lithuanian Basketball League with a solid 94-82 road victory over Lietkabelis Panevezys (10-13).

Zalgiris opened strong through Dovydas Giedraitis, Laurynas Birutis, and Ignas Brazdeikis, quickly taking control behind inside scoring and ball movement. Despite Lietkabelis cutting the gap late, youngster Majus Bulanovas closed the quarter with free throws and a three to give Zalgiris a 24-18 lead.

Lietkabelis briefly took the lead early in the second period, but Dustin Sleva and Birutis responded with second-chance baskets. Threes from Sleva and Maodo Lo, along with Deividas Sirvydis scoring 10 points in three minutes, helped Zalgiris pull away to a 48-40 halftime advantage.

Zalgiris maintained control after the break, with Sirvydis, Edgaras Ulanovas, and Birutis scoring efficiently while Giedraitis and Arnas Butkevicius added key contributions. The hosts pushed back late, trimming the margin to 75-69, keeping the game competitive heading into the fourth.

Zalgiris opened the final period with free throws from Azuolas Tubelis and Ulanovas, then sealed the game with timely three-pointers from Giedraitis and Sirvydis. A Tubelis dunk and Lo’s free throws closed out a 94-82 road win in Panevezys.

Sirvydis was the leading scorer for Zalgiris with 21 points. Tubelis had 11 points and 8 rebounds.
