Zalgiris Kaunas became the champions of the Lithuanian Basketball League for the 26th time! Coached by Tomas Masiulis, Zalgiris defeated Juventus Utena 95-77 (28-18, 22-21, 21-17, 24-21) at the Zalgirio Arena and won the final series 3-0.

At the start of the game, Azuolas Tubelis scored 6 points, Sylvain Francisco and Nigel Williams-Goss added 2 each, and Moses Wright capped a productive three-and-a-half-minute stretch with 5 points to make it 15-5. Arnas Butkevicius hit the first three-pointer for Zalgiris (18-7), Francisco made his free throws, but Juventus closed the gap to 21-18. Then Williams-Goss powered past his defender, Maodo Lo knocked down a three, and Edgaras Ulanovas finished the first quarter from the free-throw line, 28-18.

Tubelis and Wright continued to dominate inside, while Dustin Sleva scored 7 consecutive points, 39-27. Butkevicius scored after an offensive rebound, and on the next possession found Francisco open beyond the arc, 44-31. Wright scored his 9th point,  Butkevicius added another after an offensive rebound, and Ulanovas converted two free throws, 50-39.

Francisco scored 4 points, Sleva added 5, and Wright extended the lead to 19 with a dunk, 61-42. The visitors responded with a 9-0 run before Williams-Goss hit a mid-range shot, 63-51. Wright scored again in the paint, Deividas Sirvydis added 4 points, and Ulanovas beat the buzzer to end the third quarter, 71-56.

The fourth quarter opened with two-pointers from Sleva and Wright, while Giedraitis, Sleva, and Lo hit threes to push Zalgiris closer to the title, 84-65. Ulanovas and Williams-Goss added points, and Francisco brought Zalgirio Arena to its feet with a powerful dunk, 90-75. Williams-Goss hit a three, and Sleva sealed the 2025-26 season with a dunk, 95-77.

Sleva led the scorers with 19 points. Wright added 15 points and 7 rebounds. Francisco finished with 13 points.
