Zalgiris Kaunas adds a player with significant NBA experience. The club signed 25-year-old American guard Lonnie Walker IV until the end of the season, with an option to return to the NBA, with a hefty buyout until 18 February.

Walker IV was drafted 18th overall by the San Antonio Spurs in 2018 and spent 4 seasons with the team.

His best season in San Antonio was in 2021-2022, when he was averaging 12.1 points, 2.6 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game.

The following season, Walker IV moved to the Los Angeles Lakers.

He spent the 2023-2024 season with the Brooklyn Nets. There he scored 9.7 points, grabbed 2.2 rebounds and had 1.3 assists during 17 minutes on the court.

In total, Walker IV played 322 games over six years in the NBA.
