As the start of the basketball season draws ever closer, Zalgiris Kaunas unveils the official home and away jerseys for the 2024-2025 season, designed by PUMA. This year’s collection is a special one: it celebrates the 80th anniversary of the club, which is rich in history and tradition, and fans can already buy the new shirts at the Zalgiris Shop.
The new shirts feature a festive design that pays tribute to the club’s proud history.
Decorated with golden oak leaves, the shirt symbolizes strength, resilience and the deep-rooted connection Zalgiris has with its community.
The motif of oak leaves and golden borders is not just a design choice. These elements reflect the club’s history and its desire to be first on and off the court. As Zalgiris celebrates its 80th anniversary, this shirt will commemorate the many memories created over the decades - from thrilling victories to unforgettable moments in the hearts of fans.
Fans can see the new jerseys, presented by Arnas Butkevicius, Matt Mitchell and Ignas Brazdeikis, in a video produced by Cunamis Films. Zalgiris youth team players Mantas Juzenas and Dovydas Buika, as well as Zalgiris Basketball Academy students, also took part in the filming.
Fans eager for a new Zalgiris jersey can visit the Zalgiris Shop, where both home and away jerseys are now available. Later this season, an alternative playing jersey will also be introduced to fans.
The main Zalgiris Shop store is located in Kaunas Darius and Girenas Stadium.
Other Zalgiris Shop stores are located in Kaunas - S. Daukanto g. 8 and in the shopping and leisure center Akropolis (49 Karaliaus Mindaugo Ave.) and in Vilnius - Rinktines g. 16. Merchandise is also available during home games at Zalgirio Arena and online at shop.zalgiris.lt.
