On March 20, a new Zalgiris Shop officially opened its doors in Kauno Akropolis – the largest store in the club’s merchandise network to date. This is the third physical store in Kaunas and the fourth in Lithuania.
Zalgiris Shop is the only official merchandise store for the Zalgiris Kaunas basketball club and the Kauno Zalgiris football team. The new location will make it even more convenient for fans to purchase the widest range of official team apparel and accessories, including the latest basketball and football collections.
“This new store is an important step forward for both our fans’ experience and the growth of our entire network. We want every visitor to find as many new items, high‑quality collections, and modern displays as possible. We’re happy to offer the largest selection of products right here in Kauno Akropolis,” said Zalgiris Shop director Mindaugas Narijauskas.
The spacious 145 m² store is located on the second floor of Kauno Akropolis, between Apranga and Lindex. The previous store in the mall has been relocated to a significantly larger and more fan‑friendly space.
“The opening of the largest Zalgiris Shop to date in Kauno Akropolis marks an important step in strengthening the sports and leisure offering of the shopping centre. This year we are purposefully expanding this segment in response to the growing interest in active lifestyles, wellness, and longevity. The new store naturally complements this direction and broadens the assortment,” said Brigita Kuodyte, manager of Kauno Akropolis.
The store will offer official basketball and football merchandise: fan collections, clothing from the Zalgiris x Akieron line, and official products from the club’s partner PUMA.
At the opening event on Friday, the new space was viewed by Zalgiris Kaunas basketball club president Paulius Jankunas and football club president Mantas Kalnietis.
