Zalgiris players have visited the official Volkswagen car dealer Autojuta, where they picked up their new Volkswagen Tiguan models.
This is the ninth year of cooperation between Zalgiris and Autojuta. Throughout the 2025-26 season, the basketball players will be driving hybrid Volkswagen Tiguan cars.
The players who visited the car salon shared their impressions of the new cars, which, as they joked, they even had to fight a little for.
“My first year driving a Volkswagen was great, and this season should be even better – a new car and a new classic and sports concept – I like it. I’m happy because I got the green Volkswagen, I reserved it right away so I wouldn’t have to fight with the others,” joked Sylvain Francisco.
The Frenchman also revealed his favorite part of driving the car and made no secret of the fact that he is the best driver on the team.
“Definitely me, without a doubt,” Francisco replied briefly and confidently.
Meanwhile, Maodo Lo was also happy with the German car.
“It’s a German car, so I’m sure I’ll feel comfortable in it. I’m glad I’ll have the opportunity to drive it. The first thing I’ll try out is the music – I hope the sound system is good, but from what I’ve heard, it really shouldn’t disappoint,” said the German.
